چکیده

A separated cell A of a topological space X is a family of pairwise disjoint open sets with the property that, for any partition A= A1 ∪ A2 of A, ⋃ A1 and ⋃ A2 are completely separated. The separated cellularity sc(X) of X is the supremum of all cardinals of separated cells. A space X has finite separation if it has no infinite separated cells. With X compact, every separated cell of X has size < κ if and only if no regular closed subset has a continuous surjection onto βκ . It is shown that for normal, first-countable spaces finite separation is equivalent to sequential compactness. Compact finite separation spaces are examined, and compared to other classes of compact spaces which occur in the literature. It is shown that all dyadic spaces have finite separation. Likewise, every compact scattered space, every compact countably tight space, and every compact hereditarily paracompact space has finite separation.  1999 Elsevier Science B.V. Smooth biproximity spaces and P-smooth quasi-proximity spaces

The notion of smooth biproximity space  where $delta_1,delta_2$ are gradation proximities defined by Ghanim et al. [10]. In this paper, we show every smooth biproximity space $(X,delta_1,delta_2)$ induces a supra smooth proximity space $delta_{12}$ finer than $delta_1$ and $delta_2$. We study the relationship between $(X,delta_{12})$ and the $FP^*$-separation axioms which had been introduced by...

Separation of Convex Sets in Linear Topological Spaces

This paper discusses under what conditions two disjoint convex subsets of a linear topological space can be separated by a continuous linear functional. The equivalence of several forms of the Hahn-Banach theorem is proven. The separation problem is considered in linear topological spaces, locally convex linear topological spaces, Banach spaces, and finally finite dimensional Banach spaces. A n...

On exponentiable soft topological spaces

An object $X$ of a category $mathbf{C}$ with finite limits is called exponentiable if the functor $-times X:mathbf{C}rightarrow mathbf{C}$ has a right adjoint. There are many characterizations of the exponentiable  spaces in the category $mathbf{Top}$ of topological spaces. Here, we study the exponentiable objects in the category $mathbf{STop}$ of soft topological spaces which is a generalizati...

s-Topological vector spaces

In this paper, we have dened and studied a generalized form of topological vector spaces called s-topological vector spaces. s-topological vector spaces are dened by using semi-open sets and semi-continuity in the sense of Levine. Along with other results, it is proved that every s-topological vector space is generalized homogeneous space. Every open subspace of an s-topological vector space is...

Paracompactness on supra topological spaces

In this article, we present the concept of supra paracompact spaces and study its basic properties. We elucidate its relationship with supra compact spaces and prove that the property of being a supra paracompact space is weakly hereditary and topological properties. Also, we provide some examples to show some results concerning paracompactness on topology are invalid on supra topology. Finally...
